Diamonds and Daisies

This week's theme for the Etsybloggers carnival is "Diamonds and Daisies." If we're talking diamond gemstones, then I'm definitely more of a daisies kind of gal... love kites and argyle, but not so much into the sparkly stuff. (Turns out I'd previously rambled a bit about my dislike for diamonds in this post.)


But I've always liked daisies, those sunny, friendly flowers. They are casual and fun, warm and whimsical -- befitting a blossom that can be found in the wild. Diamonds, on the other hand, have always seemed cold to me. (Speaking of the other hand, I didn't even want a diamond for my engagement ring!)
