Catching Up

We've been having fun around here, and I've been too busy to record it!


On Sunday, we went to the summer carnival for BB's playgroup. It was held over at Vasona Park, one of our favorite destinations, and we had a good time even though the 11 am to 4 pm timeframe conflicted mightily with naptimes. We got there early, a little after 10 a.m., met up with A, P, and C, and left about 12:30.

Both C and BB were pretty tired by the time it was over -- I think BJ might have had the best time of any of us. Surprisingly, BB did NOT want to ride either the carousel or the train! Wouldn't have predicted that. So we watched while the others took their turn.



I'm glad I got the video, because she has had a great time watching it here at home. Guess the virtual experience is less intimidating.

She didn't want much to do with the clown, either -- though her brother was very excited to get a balloon animal. His request? A snake.

What is it about that kid and snakes??? The other day he informed me that after the cats die, we will get a snake as a pet. He also wants a ladybug and a caterpillar. So there ya go.

BB did enjoy the food, especially the hot dogs and the blueberries.
And it ended up being one of those days where not a single picture included me!

Both kids crashed hard when we got home -- and I got a nap, too. Yay for sleep!
