21 Months, Loving the Park!

Hard to believe that when BJ was this age, I was a month away from giving birth to his sister.... BB turned 21 months old today. Almost every day, and often several times a day, she will say, "I wanna gotuda poke!" (I want to go to the park, for those of you not fluent in toddler-ese.)


So we spend lots of time at the local playgrounds. Happily, our area has an abundance of good parks: within a 10-15 minute drive, there are at least a half dozen really good ones. Now that BB is taking one nap, right after lunch, It's been working really well to head out in the morning and pack a picnic. We play, eat lunch, then head home, and she'll often conk out in the car. Thank goodness she's good about a drowsy transition from car to crib!


I've been trying to be better about taking along the camera -- here are some park pics from the last month. It's been especially nice, now that BJ is in preschool, to have some time when I can focus just on my girl. The ones of her in the orange shirt are from one of our mommy-daughter trips. Enjoy!
