Another pleasant surprise in my Tuesday morning email -- for the second week in a row, mine was the winning entry in the weekly creativity contest over at Creative Construction. Miranda declared me the "defending champion" -- no pressure, huh? :-D

The prompt last week was "dream," and this week it is "hands." Surely that can be some source of inspiration for all you handcraft artists out there!

Thanks, Miranda! (And thank your friend, too, for showing such excellent taste when asked to step in as a creativity judge ;-) I hadn't yet had a chance to spend last week's $10 gift certificate, so it was fun to have twice as much for an amazon.com splurge. Between all that and winning the pumpkin, I'm feeling mighty lucky! Maybe I should go buy a lottery ticket or something!!!
