Well, here we are more than 8 months after I first started working on the website for Mama's Magic Studio, and I finally have a beginning that I'm not completely embarassed to show the world. I'd slapped up a few links when I first purchased the domain, and then it had been left "under construction" for months and months. On the to-do list, but always near the bottom.
It is definitely still a work in progress, but for somebody who knows as much as I do about putting together a website (nearly nothing!) I think it looks pretty decent.
(Not that this means the to-do list has suddenly gotten shorter. Far from it, alas!)

I like it! Elegant, appealing, informative. If I were to make unasked-for suggestions (how unlike me!) I'd say cut down the text a wee bit more, and sort things out a bit so that there is less scrolling and more of an 'at-a-glance' experience. Add some "share" buttons so your biggest fan can tell the world and you are good to go. I'm so proud of you, sweetie!
Thanks, Miri! Excellent (and very welcome) feedback -- and I hope to put these sorts of ideas into practice when at some point I upgrade from the *very* inexpensive plan I'm on now.
Right now I'm limited to five pages only, no subnavigation (which would enable that "at a glance" dealie much better). So I had to put stuff in where I could fit it on five pages. Not the best solution, but better than nothing. And works for the budget right now!
