Today BB announced, with the wonderstruck tone of voice particular to two-year-olds, "Mommy! Guess what! You don't have to be a chicken to do the chicken dance!"

Not that she's been letting such technicalities get in the way of her dancing, chicken or otherwise. Bonus points for dancing with playsilks, as shown in these pics taken earlier this month:

Yes, the scarf around the calf was her own idea.

I found myself thinking of the character from the Steve Martin movie, LA Story (I think she was the one played by Marilou Henner?) who asserted that her fashion "secret" was to look in a mirror, turn around really fast, and then whatever accessory caught her eye just had to go. Except my daughter, following such advice with this outfit, would likely end up in only a diaper.
