I have lots to blog about -- a lovely weekend, including a trip to the Renaissance Faire and a fun family picnic at one of our favorite local parks. But I'm feeling crummy, so I'll save the good stuff for when I'm up to doing it justice. Tonight, I just want to record BJ's wish.
We were running errands this morning, because life just goes on in spite of the cold I've caught, and one of our stops included the wishing fountain right outside the pet store. Naturally, both kids wanted pennies for wishes. As I dug out some spare change and sniffled into a tissue, I just had to smile when I heard what BJ was wishing:
"I wish Mommy would feel better!"
And you know what? I did. Didn't cure the cold, but it did make me feel better.
I'm such a lucky mom.
