Happy Halloween!

And a very happy Samhain as well!

Hope yours was not too spooky and full of sweetness. Ours was very nice -- such fun to have my parents here for the holiday this year. Today we carved pumpkins, toasted pumpkin seeds, and did our trick-or-treating.

BB was adorable as Cinderella, and BJ had a great time telling everybody, "I'm the little girl from Unpack Your Adjectives!" I was glad that he seemed unfazed by the confused looks he received. And big kudos to our one neighbor R, who replied to BJ's announcement by singing: "He was a hairy bear! He was a scary bear!" I even dressed up for the occasion, putting on my ren faire costume. Good times!

All the good pics are on my dad's camera, so I'll update soon with those. Including ones from yesterday at the Halloween parade at BJ's preschool. So look for lots of cuteness in the near future! (You have been warned!)
