Today's mondegreen of the day -- while listening to John Denver's "Annie's Song" (yes, we do listen to John Denver around here)
"You fill up my senses
Like a night in the forest
Like the mountains in springtime
Like a walk in the rain
Like a storm in the desert
Like a sleepy blue ocean
You fill up my senses
Come fill me again"
BJ came over to me and asked, "Mom, what's the name of this song?"
"You Fill Up My Senses," I replied (getting it a little wrong myself -- I noticed when re-checking things to post this).
"With ham?" he asked.
Well, you know what they say about the way to the heart being through the stomach: Come fill me with ham.....

Ah, and you are not alone in this. Having not heard this song, I can't comment, but I've found this website to provide hours of hilarity on songs I 'do' know well...

That link is priceless! I guess I should be happy he wasn't hearing it as "come kill me again...."
Right? Here's some tunes we DO know...

Not sure which is better; 'a gay pair of guys put up a parking lot' or 'had fry rice, poop up the parking lot'
:)
"A gay pair of guys put up a parking lot!" ROFL!
