Perspective
Lest I get too caught up in my own petty frustrations -- and to give perspective on my own fears after the recent local 4.1 tremor -- I offer a moment of prayer for folks in Haiti. I'm not usually one to Pray in an organized fashion, but I've found my thoughts turning again and again to them. (As, I'm sure, is the case with many other people; the horror is all over the news.) I was proud to see that Etsy has posted some suggestions for ways to help. S and I will be sending aid to help the victims as soon as we have a moment to sit down together and talk about how much we can afford. Hopefully tonight.

I've just been in tears over it for days. MSF is my organization of choice.
ditto. if you see the reports and interviews with a survivor, christa brelsford (sp?) she's an alumna of my college and an inspiration in what she has to say after the fact.
