Modest, Too

S reported the following exchange, had with BJ while washing hands at the bathroom sink.

S: "You're such a handsome kid!"
BJ: (pausing to look in the mirror) "Yeah, I am handsome!"

And lest you think that the boys in the family are the only ones so confident about appearances, BB told me this a few days ago: "Mommy, let me tell you the story about how I got so so so so so so so so so so so so beautiful!"

Interestingly enough, there didn't seem to actually be a story to accompany this statement. Because when I laughed and told her, "OK! Tell me!" she just flounced away, smiling.
