Mama Gets To Be A Grownup Today!

As the kids are getting older, I'm finding more time and opportunities to emerge from full-on Mom mode and Just Be A Grownup. It's refreshing. I love being a Mom, and I thoroughly cherish the blessing of being able to be home with my kids all the time, but it's not the entirety of who I am.

Today, I get to be a grownup almost all day long! No extra pairs of size 3T underwear in my purse, no grubby hands to hold as we cross the street, nobody to worry about except myself. Well, myself and the entire SF Etsy team.... I'm headed up into the city later this morning for the SF Etsy Sampler, our first SF Etsy Team Trunk Show, and since I'm one of the organizers of the event I feel very responsible for it.


It has been such fun planning this event with fellow SF Etsy member, Kendra Renee, and all the wonderful folks on our marketing team. It's my first time putting together an event like this, and I've learned a LOT. Since taking over the team leadership position in January, I've really enjoyed seeing the SF Etsy team becoming more active. Fingers crossed that today is a grand success!
