Bubbles Up To Heaven

The kids have been very sweet about the loss of our kitty Socksie. BJ keeps talking about Aslan the lion and how Socks and Aslan will be friends. BB told me "If I was Princess Presto then I would make the word Better and Socksie would be all better!" (Both the kids are big fans of Super Why and the Super Readers at the moment -- Princess Presto is all about spelling, and in the episodes the characters use reading and spelling words to solve problems. Spelling out a word would change the story. Cat sick? Make him better with the word Better. That sort of thing. If only life were so easy, eh?)

I was particularly touched last night, when BB decided that she wanted to blow some bubbles for Socksie.

Sending bubbles up to heaven. Not a bad way to be remembered.
