This year, I'm giving it a go with those intriguing upside-down hanging planters. We have two of them, one with a tomato plant only, and the other with a tomato and several other plants of thyme and strawberries in the side holes. Today, we harvested our first strawberry!
The kids had had their eye on this one berry, which would clearly be the first to ripen, and they were thrilled to point out to me that it had turned a luscious red.
Apologies for the fuzzy pic!
Split three ways it was hardly a feast, but the taste of summer was delicious!
