I love how life with kids reframes reality for you. The chance to see the world through a young person's eyes is priceless! All we big folks need to do is pay attention and listen to what the little ones are telling us.
Latest example: BB has discovered that the back seat windows in the Infinity can open. (In our Odyssey van, only the front windows do that.) Today on the way to gym class, she asked if we could ride in the Infinity. I said yes, she predictably asked for the window to be rolled down, and off we went.
Our route to gym class includes an area of road where we drive down to go under some railroad tracks. Full of glee, wind blowing in her face as we drove through that point, she squealed, "Rollercoaster! WHEEEEE!"
If I could bottle that joy, I'd be a millionaire. (As it is, I already feel pretty rich.)
Just imagine how happy she'll be when she figures out she can Roll Down The Windows All By Herself!
